It is just the beginning of new semester, new year of Hijry and Gregory calndars, and absolutely all these things come together with new hope and new resolutions and revolutions in my life...
Unfortunately, hoping that everything's gonna be okay and all right is not that easy...instead it seems light a "wake-up call" for me that the challange is gonna be harder and tougher and my fate, nothing much changes this year and this semester...just like before...even worse and worse...
i dont know why these matters happens...previously, I found my "beloved" university, UIAM, had made me suffer enough by making sudden adjustment to my final exam schedule during my 1st semester...it was not a big deal to me to study earlier in preparing myself for the exam since i am a last-minute worker...but my concern was that, i have to change my room 3 times during the exam period...if this thing happens to you, would it be conducive for you to study??? Lu pikir lah sendiri...
Another thing that made me really angry was the residential college (mahallah ali) has issued the bill for the charge of Live-In During Vacation (LIDV) since my final exam was conducted during the semester break...after certain times arguing with the college and going up and down to several related office, i got permission to stay free of charge as my "active-sem" for the 072 intake is different from other students...alhamdulillah...it somehows reduce my stress and worries...
After the beginning of sem1 08/09, suddenly the statement issued by Finance really made me get shocked! They claimed that i was taking short semester and also plus the charge of LIDV, hence i got to pay RM 200 plus with what actual amount that i have to pay...after fighting with several staffs of Finance and Mahallah, finally they reduce to RM50...What the hell? i have to pay RM50 for nothing! For something that i did not do! They took it from me without rights!!!
From this case, i started bear in my mind, this university is money-oriented unversity...the main concern of them are "how to gain more money from students?"...my perception becomes much more relevant and logic since i was summoned from two rude Security Guards who sachastically accused me as a liar even though i have explained to them the real condition....i ride a motorbike without pasted with authorized IIUM sticker but it was not my motorbike, it my friend's...that explanation was not accepted and they accused it as an attempt to cheat them...What a damn people they are!!!
When I came to the Security Office to pay the summon, i found many students there...all got summons at the same day...what is interesting to discuss here, the operation to issue summons to students is a culture in IIUM soon after PTPTN and scholarship was banked-in to students' account...that means, UIAM is a university who always plan on how to take advantages from students, so that they become our source of income =)
Hnece, Universiti Islam antrabangsa Malaysia or UIAM should change their name to Universiti INCOME Antarabangsa Malaysia...it is more compliment to their attitude rather than they uphold the name of Islam...what a shame of upholding that sacred name if their culture of work and the policy of university is oppressing their own students? Do you think this university administration really concern about justice and welfare in implementing their policy?
Lu pikir lah sendiri....
p/s: Bunyi Uni. ISLAM Antarabangsa dengan Uni. INCOME Antarabangsa kan tak jauh...hehe
